Search For Reviews by Keyword on the Book, Software, Magazine, Music
or Video Category of Your Choice
How To Do A Review Search
First choose your main category by clicking on the down arrow next to the 'Main Category' box and selecting the category you want. For example, if you are looking for music reviews then select 'Music' from the drop down list.
Next enter a keyword, keywords or a short phrase into the 'Keyword' box. Pick words or a phrase that will narrow down the reviews to the items you are looking for. For example, if you are looking for country music you could enter 'country' into the keyword box. If your returned results are too general, be more specific.
Then press the 'Search' button above. Customer reviews for the 'Top 10' Best Sellers from Amazon will be returned below for each set of search criteria you enter above. If no reviews appear below then there were no search results found for your entered search criteria. Please try again with new search criteria.

Excellent learning tool
I purchased this book for my CIS 120 class (that is intro to micro-computers). This book is an excellent teaching guide to learn everything there is to know about Microsoft Office software. It is very detailed and it gives you examples and you will learn hands on. This is an excellent book for anyone that need to learn or even need a refresher course. This book have step-by-step instructions. I highly recommend this book.

Decide Yourself Which Suits You
I don't own the book but I've checked and read it at a nearby store. I sat down and read it for nearly an hour (because I'm serious about jumping in to learn InDesign) Well, what I can say is; If you are a beginner, then use the Adobe Classroom book. It have all the tutorial and hands on training using the file included. You NEED hands training, file example and step by step instruction and finally see it done. That's how you TRULY learn. Although there has been a negative review on Adobe InDesign CS3 Classroom book, but its a good start for total beginner. Don't be too ambitious when you're just starting out (like immediately attracted to a 5 star book telling you can produce professional layout plus easy enough to follow.)
So, for me; this book is not for beginners. If you have strong mind and can remember things just by reading, then you can get this book (or if you're a beginner who like that style of learning). This book is more like a reference book. (If you want to know I'm suit enough to make this comments, then go to http://adrs-tester.blogspot.com. Decide yourself whenever you want to accept my review or not after seeing the example website. Well, sorry Blogger, I crash you to test my working environment on a free platform... :-)

Amazon Price: $77.58

Review (rating: 5):
Good manual
Using SPSS is a good manual to navigate you through using SPSS. It is idiot-proof to follow if you just do what it says. Time-consuming to read the whole thing but good for picking out specific functions to learn. Would recommend this book. Includes a CD with data sets to use while following along with the reading.

70-620 Configuring WIndows Vista Client
This is a review for the 70-620 book. I took the classes 5115 and 5116 from Microsoft. These classes alone would not have been enough to pass the 70-620 test. I don't know if the book alone would have been enough to pass either. I found the book well written enough. There were a few typos and I've seen lots of other reviews saying how the information in the book was inaccurate, however I did not find this to be the case. I spent every free moment I had studying the book and was through it in about 1 week. Give your self plenty of time to go through the book and do all the practice stuff. The practice tests were "ok" at best. Here is where I found inaccurate information. The tests clearly need some updating because they were marking answers wrong that I know were correct. All in all it was a good study guide. I honestly don't think that I could have passed the 70-620 test with out it, but I'm not sure if this was my *only* source if I would have passed the test. Good luck!

A must have for anyone buying a new computer with Vista
I bought and read this book while I was waiting for my new Dell XPS to arrive, and I thank my lucky stars every day since that I did. When my computer was installed, I already knew where everything was so I just fell into it with no problem whatsoever. I've told a lot of my friends, if you're thinking of getting Vista, do two things. Get your computer made with a LOT of ram, no less than three gigs, a good sound card, a good video card, big hard drive, and READ THIS BOOK FIRST before you ever open the computer. It'll save you a lot of angst over VISTA. I'm sure most of the problems people report having with it are because they went into it without any real preparation beforehand. Vista is different, but it's not impossible once you've gone through this book. It's very long, but you're not trying to memorize everything in it, you're trying to help yourself make your way around a brand new and very beautiful operating system. As long as you have this book in your house, you'll be fine. HIGHLY recommended.
